For over 100 years, the York Co-op has been proudly supported by our loyal customers—people who choose to shop local and invest back into their own community. It’s this ongoing support that allows us not only to grow and evolve, but to give back in meaningful ways.

Every purchase made in our Co-op stores helps fund sponsorships for local clubs, schools, and community groups across our district. From grassroots sport to community events and initiatives, we’re committed to supporting the people and organisations that make York such a vibrant place to live.

 To apply for sponsorship for your community group, simply complete our Sponsorship Application Form. We welcome applications from local clubs, schools, and organisations that contribute to the strength and spirit of our community.

YORK IGA COMMUNITY CHEST PROGRAM

Did you know that when you purchase products displaying the Community Chest logo at York IGA, you’re helping fill the Community Chest? It’s an easy way to support local community groups just through your everyday shopping. Funds are distributed at the end of November each year, so be sure your community group submits an application in October to be considered.
